This is only the second time I've needed to completely rescan my mods folder (sims 4) but, wow, it's taking awhile. I have no idea if it's almost done, halfway done, or if it's even working at all. Almost an hour has passed - it would be helpful if the status of the scan's progress was available.

I was just going to suggest this as I'm currently 1.45 hours into a scan and I have no idea how long it'll actually take... I do have a ton of mods but an indicator of time would be great.
148GB of mods doesn't help at all but a completion percentage would be great or have it scan the amount of files and have it say a file number out of overall files completed for example (1,456/9,450) and have it as a countdown of sorts.
