accessibility issue with new darkmode only website Merged

i am aware that dark themes are the hot favoured thing among most people, and i am certainly no fan of pure white backgrounds, but enforcing dark modes with no light theme is inacessible to a number of vision problems such as astigmatism and monocular double vision, as it is harder to 'ignore' ghosting, halation, and other doubling when the brightest part of the screen is within the finest details.

accessibility is never one size fits all, and while i am glad photosensitive folks have dark mode, please consider adding a website theme toggle with a soft grey light theme - or at very least make the new website design to be compatible with the extension dark reader. currently, dark reader's light mode option cannot flip the colours, so i cannot even make the new curseforge interface usable on my own end right now, meaning i cannot navigate CF comfortably, and frankly mods are not worth the migraine that dark mode causes.


PS. the ideas website being a pure white background probably isn't enjoyed by the dark mode enthusiasts lmao
