sorting popular mods by active users not just raw downloads

A better way to articulate what the most popular and possibly essential mods or new authors of previously existing mods.

A better way to navigate popular mods.

For all games there should be implemented an index and sorting category for people who actively use their games and update their mods.

A way to do this is a "most downloads/updates in the last 1,2,3,6,12 month categories and an improve the popular and most downloads function.

Some several hundred users can download a mod for a game and then the developer can stop publishing, no way to know that the mod has a new moderator/successor or whether the mod is basically hot garbage that also gets uninstalled frequently.
