When trying to update a Curseforge mod for the Sims 4, if the game is already running, Curseforge displays an I/O error. This is likely because the Mods directory is temporarily marked read only while the game is in use. Although I have been able to add mods to the folder while the game is in use, no files already in there can be changed or removed. Maybe an error message: I/O error, you may already be running the game/app.
