stop trying to force the curseforge app on users Merged

please stop trying to force the desktop app on curseforge users. if i wanted to use your mod manager/launcher i would. i dont want to. the beta website is not ready for use, and the fact that downloading mods with the curseforge app is the default is frustrating. it makes using the website more frustrating that it's worth, but since there's no alternatives for some mc mods it feels like you're twisting users' arms to force us to just deal with it. it sucks
