I've tried the new website for a bit, personally I don't care all that much for redesigns, my only real gripe with the old site is the filtering system, which - I'm happy to see - got a major improvement on the new website. Dark mode is a nice to have, although light mode should remain as an option as well, if it is in fact still available in the new website, where is the option to switch to it? Regardless, I suggest adding a little UI switch element in the toolbar.

Another major improvement in my opinion is how search results for any given game aren't limited to a single page anymore. Great job!

One of the things that does annoy me to some degree however, is how spaced out almost every UI element is. I understand it's becoming somewhat of a standard due to touchscreens, but I can't imagine many would benefit from being able to navigate this site more easily with a tablet. The most extreme example of this is how every list item takes up twice as much vertical space than on the old website. A lot of unnecessary scrolling if you ask me.

A somewhat unnecessary change is how you have to use a dropdown menu to download a file directly, I understand you want to promote your application, but I wouldn't use the site in the first place if I did have the application.

In short:

Pros:

• Updated filtering system

• No single page limit on search results anymore

Cons:

• No option/No easy way to switch to light mode

• Wasteful UI element spacing (particularly for list items)
