I have my cc organized in folders, but CurseForge says everything in the folders is uninstalled. My mods that live in the root mods folder are recognized as installed. Please make the program recognize folders within the mods folder and add an option to sort cc into folders from within CurseForge.
I understand script mods don't work when placed in a folder, but custom content does. The program should know that and work accordingly.

In fact, .ts4script files can support up to one subfolder while .package files support up to five subfolder so all mods and CC can be organized in subfolders.
This!!!
That would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great!!!
Yes! An option to install mods into a subfolder is what we need.
absolutely yes to this. like for example MCCC was in a folder but was not getting recognised as a CF mod via CF. only when i took it into the main Mods folder did it get recognised. Like, we're using CF for the convenience of updates (at least I am) so this is kinda inconvenient. In the end I emptied my folders, but now my Mods are a mess of CF mods and none-CF mods. So overall this sucks.
I do want to say that some CF mods already install with folders (ex. Basemental Eco Hacks) so maybe CF can strongly incentivise uploaders to upload like that too or improve folder file recognition.
They work placed in a folder (at least they always have done without CF?) but just not several folders deep
But yeah, I absolutely cannot and will not have absolute chaos of a folder so that was a short lived use of this app!
