When using infinite scrolling you end up suffering a great deal of slowdown the deeper you go. This is because when you infinite scroll you keep all previous scrolling loaded and you are basically refreshing the list. A simple and easy to solution is to use page indexing as an alternative. This would alleviate a lot of that delay.
I would prefer to preload 40 items per page. View types could include tile view and listed view.

Agreed. Since the search bar doesn't seem to function. This user tried to sort addons by name, but the infinite scroll is kind of terrible in the amount of scrolling required to get to an addon title that begins with something like the letter "L". We appreciate your consideration of this suggestion!
