Add a better filter for my favorite/following mods and projects

Add a filter for my favorite/following mods and projects

Why?

I've got 800+ mods/projects that I follow on my curseforge profile, all from Minecraft versions since 1.6 until 1.21, but I would like to see what mods, from those 800+, are available on an specific MC version. For example, if I want to search between my following mods, those who are available only for 1.12.2, I don't have a way to do it.

Whenever I'm creating a mod list for play, I need to check one by one to see the mods available for that version, and it starts to get anoying after the first 50 mods, now imagine with 800+.

What to do?

That's why I think the website should have other filters (specially one for versions) for my favorite mods, because currently it only can be filtered by the latest update (which isn't really helpful for searching mods for an old MC version).

Alternative?

Other option (I think more easy to do) would be adding an extra filter when you search for projects on the website that would be "Following", and you would only see those mods/projects that you follow, instead of seeing all the existing mods, including those you follow, but a lot you don't.

It would be really helpful for those who follow a lot of mods and play on a lot of different versions, so that we can manage more easily those mods which we follow by having also all the general filters that the website have available, or at least, be able to filter by Minecraft Version.

    This NEEDS to be implemented.

Using the phone to browse mods has features the desktop app does not have.

Managing 800+ followed projects manually is definitely a massive headache. While the CurseForge website lacks a "Filter by Version" option within your Followed list, the most effective workaround is to use the CurseForge Desktop App. When you create a new "Custom Profile" for a specific version (like 1.12.2) and click "Add More Content," there is a "Sort by: Followed" filter. This instantly cross-references your entire followed list against that specific Minecraft version, showing you exactly which of your favorites are compatible without the manual search EZ Pass IN
If you prefer a web-based approach, you can try using the external site "Modrinth" (if the mods are mirrored there), as their search filters are significantly more robust. Otherwise, your suggestion of a "Following" filter in the general search bar is a popular request; you might consider upvoting or submitting this on the CurseForge Ideas portal to get it on the developers' radar.
