This Is Useful Because As Me if Anyone Lose Its Authenticator App So The Code Will Also Got Finished! And To Get The Reward We Need 2FA Code An Without It All The Hardwork Will Be Wasted For Us If You Add Forgot Button In 2FA And Add A Qr For New Code Then We Can Easily Get Our New Code And For The Security You Can Mail To Users GMAIL Account They Gave To You For The Code. I am interpreting your suggested process like this:
1) You lose/forget/delete your 2FA app or codes
2) You click a button that says "Forgot/Lost 2FA"
3) You instantly recieve a new 2FA setup code
4) Only once this process is complete does a passive email get sent confirming action was taken
If the above is accurate to your intended process this would render 2FA completely useless.
