It would be a little more convenient, it would benefit everyone that uses the app, and it could be pretty much work/behave directly similar to the website version; although, I don't know a lot about coding, so I'm not sure how difficult this would be. I completely understand if you decline this idea!

A month or two ago, my experience with editing / creating comments on a CurseForge Minecraft mod page was buggy and frustrating - so I was going to suggest just largely following Github's implementation (which seems to be the case here. This is a good thing)
What's odd, is even writing this comment; the comment box on this page is great and has the tools bar with the usual formatting options found on Github!
Trying to edit your own comment on a CurseForge Minecraft mod page with a full-fat link (since the comment box does not have any of the formatting options at the top like I see on this page's comment box - so no hyperlink), it'll end up adding random extra garbage to the link which makes it obscenely long and characters like > and < come up as $ G something like that when you go to edit the comment.
I could share the link to the comment that showcases the buggy comment editing behavior if requested.
i agree heavily
