I am troubled with the recent announcement, that the current beta website is supposed to go live shortly. Troubled, because the beta site doesn't provide any kind of issue tracking system that allows mod authors to interact with their users to identify and work on issues. The feature also isn't mentioned in any of the announcement for stuff to come later, so I have to assume that the feature is supposed to be 'quietly' dropped.
Maybe that is different for many of the other mod authors, but the curse forge issue tracker is one of the main ways I interact with my users. A comment system simply cannot cope with the requirements in those usecases. Using an external issue tracking system is not really feasible (in contrast to external source repository systems) as it inserts an extra hurdle for the users to reach the developer.
The issue tracker should:
allow to create arbitrary numbers of issues
link issues with each other for reference or duplication marking
describe the issue with a reasonable mark up language
provide communication options in those issues
allow the possibility to mark issues with different labels
allow to assign issues to authors (with a default author assignment option)
attach screenshots
attach logs
The feature doesn't necessarily need to be a custom implementation just for curse forge, but is important that it integrates with the curse forge authentication system for easy access. It would also be nice if it would integrate nicely with the rest of the website, but even that isn't a strict necessity.

This board is being moderated, if you wish for your idea(s) to go public, please consider the following:
If your idea already exists, vote for it, this will increase the chances for the idea to become reality. Duplicate ideas only split and lower votes
This board is for new ideas and feature suggestions, for technical issues or bug reports, visit/contact CurseForge Support
This ensures that the idea is accessible to a wider audience and makes it easier for others to understand and vote for the idea
Any ideas posted with foul language will not be published and get deleted
Avoid posting 'lists' of different ideas, we won't be able to address them with a proper status and they will get less votes from others, each idea should have its own post
Posts with multiple ideas can not be merged and prevent us from opening these posts for upvotes
As a bonus it would be cool if one can easily create an issue out of a user comment, and the comment is automatically linked with the issue so that the regular uses can quickly jump to the issue.
