in the old website UI, selecting a file (for example, a minecraft mod JAR) will show the file's description/changelog, with both a direct download button and a curseforge app installation button.
in the new UI, the only button visible is the curseforge install button, and the direct download is hidden behind an additional dropdown. it's only one extra mouse click, but when downloading multiple mods, it starts adding up.
this, combined with the "still downloading manually??" message, leaves a very condescending and sour taste in the mouth of your browser users who refuse to download extra software they don't need. if i wanted to use the curseforge app, i would be already, stop trying to shove it down our throats.
