When selecting mods for your own profile it would be handy to know what mods are conflicting and preferably how to fix and also a system that can recognise if you've added a mod that is a duplicate of another, just food for thought : )
We will look into adding, thanks for the idea!

btw you can search in the duplicated mods the (copy) or idk what its named in america, and it will show you every duplicated mods
Honestly just the ability to select multiple mods at once and delete multiple at the same time would be a great solution to this. So much less stress if I can just go "Oh woops curseforge made two copies of all my mods lets fix that" instead of individually reading mod names to make sure I delete all the duplicates. I recently had to reinstall forged and when I did all my mods up to 100 of them all ended up duplicated inside the mod app. Which was a nightmare on my adhd.
This would be an essential feature for Sims 4 mods as well!
Many Sims 4 players have literally hundreds of mods in one folder (10 GB is not unusual) due to the way Curseforge organizes everything. We also typically like to sort our content into subfolders, but currently everything is stuck into just one folder, causing chaos for this very reason.
We sometimes even get duplicates with the EXACT same file name in subfolders: if even one folder deep was searched, this would remove a LOT of duplicates for us, and even help organize script mods so we can determine which might be broken with the latest patch or incompatible with other mods. If Curseforge does not have a feature that flags duplicates by exact file name and extension, it should. Meanwhile, I guess I will just keep using general file duplicate checkers.
This would be amazing but like with Skyrim etc, would be tough to implement. Perhaps CF could make a voting/marking system where users would mark two+ mods that are incompat with eachother. Then, someone at CF would confirm and make it official.
It's all about interactions during runtime. Sometimes it's obvious during startup (errors / CTD) while other times it's not until you get in-world and play with things where the errors start.
Twisted Mexis better exceptions mod seems to help with this. However, it does not always catch duplicate custom content. I would love for a subfolder scanner to be added as an option to "scan subfolders for duplicates", and add existing custom content from subfolders to current custom content. Non curse-forge mods might have a symbol on them, just like the Sims gallery has a symbol on modded lots, and on other custom content in the in-game build/buy browsing mode.
Oh like an incompatible mods thing sort of what people do with dependencies? That would actually be sick
