So if I look up "chingyu" for Sims 4 mods, I get that there are no results. I have to search "chingyu1023" (the full username) to be able to get results. I think it would be a lot more convenient if people could type in partial names instead of the full names.
This is certainly something we'd like to consider implementing and improve for the search feature, thank you for the feedback!

would be noice af.
Please, this would be so great.
Yes please for this! and a follow button
Please, and Thank you.
Agreed. I'd also like to be able to have a button for a specific "kit" of mods that I want to download because some mods require other mods to work. If I could download all of the mods altogether it saves me a lot of time. If there are specific mods that require another mod to work that isn't from that creator, they should put a ui stating as much before moving on to download more mods for assurance that nothing happens while playing the game. I feel like that'd make things so much easier and faster. It's also nice to have links to others' mod profiles (profiles should exist too if they don't already. I haven't seen any)
Adding to this idea, a "follow" button or similar to allow users to keep track of their favorite modders!
Yes! How is it that the search function is so rudimentary? I have dozens of modders I can't find on CF. I've run across some from other searches and trying a part of their mod name, but there are so many I can't find on there. Also, thank you to Guest for using that example, chingyu is one of the modders I hadn't been able to find.
Definitely. I am still trying to get all my mods from my folders into the game now with CurseForge and sometimes the modder's name on here is not what I am used to using for them. I have accidentally run across several modders who I previously had searched for under a different name variation.
i think this is quite necessary as sometimes i don't know the exact username of a modder which makes it almost impossible to find them
