Allow scheduling a public release, so that a project can be approved as "private" - this would allow mods and modpacks to have an announced release time, which would increase the downloads and traffic
This is useful for releasing an anticipated bigger modpack or mod, that has been announced in advanced and marketed. It would be a win win, and mimics the functions of other social media platforms.

this would also be big for servers, especially offical server because frequently teams just have to pst the version and wait for approval so then when it is approved people download it but they don't have the server updated because they have no ability to know when it will be released
