Add Java 27 as a pre-selectable runtime preset in CurseForge App

Description:

Since the release of Java 27 (September 15, 2026), several newer Minecraft mods and modpacks have started requiring Java 27 to run properly.

Currently, users have to manually locate and set the Java 27 executable path inside the Minecraft Launcher settings for each instance. Adding Java 27 as a built-in selectable runtime preset (alongside Java 8, 17, and 21) under Settings > Minecraft > Java Management would provide a huge quality-of-life improvement for players and modpack creators alike.

Suggested Implementation:

  • Include Java 27 in the dropdown list for Java versions in the CurseForge app settings.

  • Allow automatic detection/download of the Java 27 runtime for instances targeting newer Minecraft versions/mods that mandate JDK 27.
