Display download count for the game file/instance not the main game. Dropdown selection triggers a filter for the downloads.

When selecting the game instance version (Retail, Forever, Classic, etc.) triggers download count for that instance/game file.

It can be misleading or confusing counting total downloads across World of Warcraft when looking for useful addons within the specific space of it being Retail, Forever, Classic. Especially with the push for many game instances being supported in tandem.


Edit: This specific suggestion relates to World of Warcraft, but it could be useful in other spaces as well.

    Or even have a toggle or filter created, Total downloads and Game Version downloads.
