When you are playing a mod pack by someone else, you probably don't want to update all the mods, since this might cause the configs to break. This especially might cause a problem when you use 12 different resource packs, and you want to update multiple packs, but not the mods. It is very tedious to go through and click on each one to update instead of just once button. Yes, I am aware there is the checkbox to select multiple at once that way, but more times than not, I forget about that button cause it just blends in with the background. It would just be easier to also have a "one-click update all in category" button in my opinion.
