My idea is to add a preview option to projects, so they are visible to the community, even if they have no files yet (Just logo, description, gallery, comments [if enabled], donation method…). Instead of downloads, a vote option will appear (optional, to give the owner a feedback how much the community wants the project). The release date (optional) is a day in the future and can be configured by the creator, depending on when he wants to publish the project. If the release date is passed, the creator will get a message or he can upload files, that are not visible to the community, and which are automatically uploaded at the release date. After any files are published to the community, the status of the project will change from preview to active.
