Different versions of the same pack if they span minecraft versions

So the gist is with packs like, for example, terrafirmacraft reloaded that have versions that spawn multiple versions of minecraft I would like it if it were easier to install the pack again as a separate instance for the different minecraft versions instead of having first to copy the files to a custom profile then reinstall the different version of the pack cuz if you try to download from the versions tab it just overwrites the existing profile with the new version of the pack.
