We already know that you may judge projects by the download count, but it doesn't always help.
Project rating is a must-need feature. Just like spigotmc does, we could look on the reviews before downloading content, it would be a really appreciated if you plan on it.
Anything that might help reduce the number of required updates to install - I'm sick of getting spammed for updates simply because Mod developers want more downloads. Maybe consider a penalty for releasing an update within a certain period. Like losing a percentage of the rating count since technically it's a "new" product.

Y E S. It doesn't even have to be a star system or something. Even something like reddits upvote system is better then nothing

With ratings there should be a requirement like verifying your account with a phone number, having an account older than a week, or something like that to prevent bots

like the 5 star rating on yelp, amazon, etc. We could see a star rating plus why the user thought it was that way. If this were implemented, I'd recommend that they have to enter 10 words for each star they don't give. Yes, don't give. Because if content is bad, we want to know why it's bad. A 1 star rating would require a reviewing consisting of 40 words.
