Let's be real, there's not a single program that has a good reason to always install itself on C. It's sketchy beyond belief and a large number of people have a small SSD with only their OS as their C: Drive. The fact that curseforge refuses to allow any other directory where you can install the app is ridiculous.

literally can't install it because of this, my computer keeps saying things are taking up C: space when they're on other drives so it thinks I don't even have room to do the first install. please let us change install folder, especially since it displays it as though you should be able to change it
yea, gonna keep using other apps untill they give option to change folder, cba moving it myself
I 100% agree. There is no reason to restrict the download to the C: drive. I want it on my other drive where I installed Minecraft itself!
100% sketchy if i could play the mod I want on another launcher I would just because of that.
