When creating a modpack, it would be nice to have an auto-generated changelog generated between each run of the game (stored & editable locally, viewable in client). Initial run would generate an initial startup that shows the loader, its version, and a list of all mods/resourcepacks/worlds/etc that were installed through the launcher.
Then, if anything is added, updated, or removed before the next press of the "Play" button, it would have a new section added to the top of the changelog.
This could help newer pack-makers, or people who don't know how to read a crash log, to quickly determine what they may need to fix. A mockup:
