As an example, when searching for WoW addons, you are presented with a page, wherein if you select a specific game version the page will list the addon, only if that addon has a release for that specific version, awesome right? That's where the good things come to an end.
Clicking on download or install will lead you to download the latest version that's entirely irrelevant to the already filtered one and will force you to open the addon files and re-select the specified version in order to list the latest release from that and be able to download it.
This whole process could be sped up, a lot!
I've created a content script to sort out most of this hassle for me, albeit not everyone is as tech savvy to make a workaround for themselves.
Logic:
Well, if you've already selected the specific version, then only allow me to install the release for the specified version without forcing me to go through the hassle of re-selecting the version again, only to be greeted with a huge list of files.
Love your work, and cheers!
Your average tech savvy guy.
