As the title says.
I'd like for it to be easier to share modpacks I've made with friends as well as update the packs accordingly, without having to instruct them what needs to be removed or changed.
It's also especially helpful for those who are particularly paranoid about downloading anything outside of the site.
I don't need my modpack to be entirely public, either, even just a feature to unlist the modpack for not meeting Summary standards but allowing those with a link to view it would be nice, too.
You can already share modpack profiles with your friends without needing to upload them to the website. Simply, create your modpack profile in the CurseForge app, then click the 'Export Profile' button.
After this, send your friend the zip file that you exported, and tell them to go to the "My Modpacks" page, and then have your friend click "Create Custom Profile", and the the import button.

This board is being moderated, if you wish for your idea(s) to go public, please consider the following:
If your idea already exists, vote for it, this will increase the chances for the idea to become reality. Duplicate ideas only split and lower votes
This board is for new ideas and feature suggestions, for technical issues or bug reports, visit/contact CurseForge Support
This ensures that the idea is accessible to a wider audience and makes it easier for others to understand and vote for the idea
Any ideas posted with foul language will not be published and get deleted
Avoid posting 'lists' of different ideas, we won't be able to address them with a proper status and they will get less votes from others, each idea should have its own post
Posts with multiple ideas can not be merged and prevent us from opening these posts for upvotes
Not what I'm asking for + Still creates the hassle of sending an entirely new modpack just to update the modpack I've sent to friends.
I want access to the update modpacks feature so I don't have to constantly send a modlist zip file over and over again. Remove the tedium of exporting/importing, let people have access to the update pack feature without making their modpacks entirely public.
So no, NOT 'already exists.'
