Currently the API-Endpoint GET /v1/mods/{modId}/files from https://api.curseforge.com/v1/mods/{modId}/files can be used to request various data about all files of a mod, which is great.. BUT
The downloadCount property contained in each object for a specific file often has the value 0 or a value which does not at all correlate to the actual values from the curseforge mod page.
I have already drawn the support team's attention to this shortcoming and the lack of implementation. They have confirmed to me that this function has not yet been implemented and is not currently planned.
Which is very surprising when you consider that this information can already be found on the mod pages themselves.
For me, it is important to have accurate information about the download count of my individual mod versions. But I think that implementing this function could also be beneficial for many other developers (e.g. for 3rd party launchers, etc.)
