Remove ability to update a mod past your modpack version

Concerning minecraft, i have a 1.20.1 modpack

I find it extremely weird that i see a "update" button next to my mods, which after clicking them updates said mods to the newest (1.20.4) minecraft version, making them incompatible and now i cannot launch my game anymore

Something people modding under a rock know is that you cant install 1.20.4 mods on 1.20.1, so its weird that curseforge suggest i update said mods past my modpacks version.
