The dependancy system is a good time saver and also the way the app disables any mods depeding on a mod you just disabled.
But sometimes, especially when frankenstiening to gheter very old versions and "for of a fork of a forks" with other mods those dependencies are a bit f*ed. This is not curesforges fault its just a decade of historical growth.
But somethimes when troubleshooting a pack just getting to an ingame crash screen is progress. If I flick mods on and off to see what it does then I sometimes do not notice (with hundereds of mods) that a alleged depnedncy has been tuerned of as well. Which makess it hard to keep track of changes and hone in on the problem.
