This system would be a little icon, like the lightweight or heavy sizes, but is more specific with how much ram should be allocated. This would give someone a lot better of an idea of what is possible on their pc.

I'm sure this is one of those ideas that sounds great on paper but will break the moment it hits real-world use
I think this is a great idea. When you fill out the pack profile there should be a "minimum ram requirement" field and "best ram allotment" field. Creators should have to fill out both and CF can display an icon in the tiny pack header on the page to indicate what was put in those fields.
