the option to disable updates for specific mods.

This would help prevent unintentional issues that can disrupt an entire modpack, and it can also address the inconvenience of certain mods consistently staying at the top of the list.

I want this so bad. There are so many mods and resource packs that add different "versions" of their projects, such as the new resource pack Supernova (Original Music Pack) by bouncytorch, which adds 2 resource packs released one after the other, one that replaces vanilla Minecraft music, and one that simply adds the new music to it. Because I want to use the version that only adds the music, I now have to prevent myself from ever updating the resource pack, forever. There should be a button beside the "Active" button that toggles a mod, data pack, or resource pack's ability to download new versions on and off. With this switched off, you should be able to safely press the "Update all" button again without worry of downloading the wrong version of certain projects. It's a very exhausting problem that I've had many times in the past, and I often avoid using mods because of it (like a structure mod I found once that adds a "Rare" structures version and a "Common" version, and I wanted the Rare version, but the Common version was listed on top... so I had to constantly redownload the right version after Updating all mods by accident)

Hold on!
