In the app when creating or editing a profile you can change the version just like changing the mod loader

it would be nice to have because if you have a 300 mod pack and don’t wanna add it again to another profile you can just change the version. If some mods are not on that version it would be turned off if the user try’s to turn it on they will be brought with a warning sign.

    I believe this was deliberate as changing the version more often than not will require a complete rebuild of the profile unless every single mod in the profile exists in both versions. Then we have saves being incompatible when backdating Vanilla, and modded save compat is a complete gamble that cannot be relied on.
