Use different, temporary, username for LAN sessions in Minecraft

If you try to play LAN with two instances of MC java using the same account, when the second computer tries to join the first, it says that the username is already taken. What MultiMC, for example, does is changes the username for that session by asking which name you'd like to use for that game. That way there's no clash of usernames and the LAN can go ahead. Would be great to be able to do that in Curseforge too.
