Not OP, but if you try to use a shields badge that contains a Base64 image in a Project description, such as:
the editor simply strips the src field after you save your changes. If you add the image using the WYSIWYG editor toolbar, it lets you see the badge in the editor, but the src field is nonetheless stripped after saving the changes to the description.
