I find it annoying to rely on the modpack developer to add a mod list into the pack's description; I would love to see what mods are inside a modpack without downloading it. My download speed is pathetic takes me forever to download anything sometimes.
OH OMG UNINSTALLED OVERWOLF BECAUSE IT IS NOT SECURE. IT SERIOUSLY FAILED ALL THE SECURITY TESTS
As a modpack developer, I strongly disagree with this. If your pack is no more than a list of mods, there would be no issue with knowing what those mods are, of course. However, it is the objective of many modpack developers to create an immersive experience using harmonic blending of the mods at our disposal. Presenting our packs to players as a list of mods would be a hinderance to this.
would be nice if you could also search for the mods as well
You actually can do this. open the online page of the modpack (3 dots > open main page) click on Relations. If in the top left corner there is "Dependents" Click on it and choose "dependencies"
Hey,
We added this to our plans and are working on showing this information in a new tab.
oi kkkkkkkkkkk
ppp
more bonus points : have a picture of the mod if possible
Bonus points: A filterable search where you can specify which mods you do/don't want in a modpack. So you can say "I want a modpack that has Thermal Expansion and Applied Energistics, but doesn't have JEI because I hate myself and want a challenge with recipes", and only modpacks that meet that criteria would show.
Shouldn't be hard to do as an extension to this idea :)
please support my idea if you like it

Yes, a tab for dependencies like the website at the very least.
It only needs to show what is currently the latest to be effective.
THIS. One key thing is it NEEDS to be per-version too. mod packs that are maintained are always changing their mod list, so having it be version specific would really help users find mod packs they would want to try.
