Pop-Up's for help _ Column Descriptions _ Newbie welcome page

As a non-gamer type person that has been playing World of Warcraft and choose some add on's. I don't really understand what the curseforge screen means on this site with "updated" "recently updated" "sync" etc. and I am struggling to figure out how these add-on's work and how I am supposed to keep them up to date once added.

The titles in the curseforge window showing the add-on's don't make a lot of sense to a brand newbie and would love like floating/pop-up tips when floating over the columns or some sort of tab called " Welcome and getting started", with explaining what the columns mean/wording means and how to check for updates and how to update the computer etc. and how to know if there is a new update/versus what you have is current etc.
