i need the real slice of life mod for the sims 4 this app is the only thing that works for me

The "real" slice of life mod? It is available from KawaiiStacie on her Patreon or website. Extract all the files, then read the instructions closely. Slice of Life is a script mod, so it either goes directly into the Mods folder, or into a folder named Slice of Life. A script mod cannot go more than one folder deep and still work in your game.
Your mods folder may be here: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods. Script mods should all go there, or one folder deep, for instance, Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/mods/Scriptname.
Curseforge right now installs ALL mods, CAS, and build buy items directly into the mods folder without using subfolders, and lots/households/rooms/Sims directly into the tray folder. If you are not using Curseforge to extract and install your mods, I recommend putting script mods directly in your mods folder, and all custom content (does not use .ts4script files) in subfolders labelled by set, creator, or type of content.
