Feature that makes it possible to run profiles/modpacks directly from an i.e. desktop shortcut (or other game launchers like Steam)

Seeing as how Overwolf launches Curseforge with a cryptic ID parameter in its shortcut, wouldn't it be possible for profiles to be designated an ID which makes it possible is launch modpacks directly in a similar fashion?


In certain cases, as mentioned in the title, like launching a modpack from Steam (as added via Games -> "Add an non-steam game to my library..") I think it'd be practical to jump straight into the game.
