[Minecraft] Automatic mod updater

Please consider adding a very useful feature for modpack developers. A feature that probably would be amazing is a feature to allow developers to auto update modpacks. For modded server owners, it would be nice to have a feature where lets say if I were to update my server with brand new mods and changes, I could click a button that would push out the update for the modpack and it will notify users that the modpack is being updated with the latest changes. As a server owner it is very frustrating running a minecraft modded server and having to add small mods, update mods, remove mods, and then having to have all the players to reinstall the modpack. If this feature is not possible, maybe consider an option for modpacks to pull the required mods to join a server by inserting the ip so it will be easy for new players to join the server.

Force updating minecraft mods/packs is a massively bad idea. Changes between versions can break worlds irreparably.

Your request to update based off what a server has is outside of the scope of CurseForge. CurseForge hosts files and provides a client app for installing said files. There is no server management.

It sounds like you need to find a better way to manage your server. You can easily do this by having a profile on the client that's only for for your server. Update whatever is needed in it and copy all the files to the server whenever you update it. Then you can export it and share that export with anyone who wants to join or upload it to CurseForge.
