With every update the launcher gets slower and slower doing anything at all. Right now it takes 2-3 minutes to load the program and when trying to update one mod it freezes up the program or 1-2 minutes then updates but giving the error "failed to delete addons" even though it did update the mod...lol. With all the time it takes to update (larger packs can take well over an hour) it would be great if I could push one button then walk away. It is silly how this option is even needed...most programs because easier and faster to use with each update...not worse.

Update All button in a single modpack is under consideration but requires very careful handling (Yamza mentioned below).
update all modpacks is something different. if you are interested in that perhaps it's worth creating a new suggestion.
Performance issues - please open a ticket at https://suppport.curseforge.com and add your logs.
80% of this post isn't even related to the suggestion you titled it as.
There is no "update all" button by design. You as a pack maker shouldn't even want such a thing. You should at minimum be checking what changes mods have before even touching the update button, never mind just pressing a button that updates everything and completely breaking the pack due to changes you arn't paying any bit of attention to.
