I think that when you try to add Stardew Valley there should be a video tutorial that explains how to add SMAPI so CurseForge can find Stardew Valley

We have this as an item in the known issues article in our support center which can also be searched and found in-app through the support widget.
We also have this item to properly support the game and detect it correctly.

Lastly, in our Discord community server, there is a pinned message with the info + the moderators are aware of this to help people who get there.
